LEMEG’s record at Pietersburg Hospital includes the Hybrid Cardiothoracic Theatre, completed 2009 to 2010 for the Limpopo Provincial Department of Health. LEMEG recorded it as the first provincial hospital to have a hybrid cardiothoracic theatre. The theatre allows a conventional surgical procedure and a catheter-based interventional procedure, guided by fluoroscopy imaging, to be combined in a single procedure under one anaesthetic.

Pre-contract: project inception and appraisal; concept and design development; technical and procurement documentation. Post-contract: construction-phase contract administration, technical inspections and quality control.
